Open Health Tools and Dr. Kolodner, also chief health informatics officer for Open Health Tools, are working with Georgia Tech on an initiative that will include the government, healthcare providers and provider organizations, patient and personal health advocacy organizations, open source and commercial vendors, public health organizations, academic and non-academic researchers, start-up companies and entrepreneurs.

Former National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Robert M. Kolodner, MD, Open Health Tools and Georgia Institute of Technology have joined together to promote health IT development, according to a Georgia Tech news release.
