AHRQ Toolkit to Assist Physician Practices in Workflow Analysis of Health IT

A new toolkit funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality will help small- and medium-sized physician practices analyze their workflow with the effect of health information technology implementation, according to the AHRQ website.
The toolkit includes the basics of workflow, educational presentations, examples of assessing workflow, others' experiences with workflow and health IT and research.
It also contains the essential workflow tools, including benchmarking, flowcharts, interviews, risk assessments, checklists and usability evaluations.
