Medical Device Integration, Nurse Authentication Key to Accurate EMR Data

Integrating medical devices with electronic medical records and having patient information reviewed by nurses may improve data accuracy in EMRs, according to a white paper (pdf) by iSirona, a medical device integration company.
The white paper, "Flawed Data Chain, Faulty EMR: How to Build a Solid Footing for Patient Data," argued that a medical device integration system in combination with nurse authentication can provide healthcare providers with accurate, nearly real-time data.
