Zimmer Holdings has announced a new free patient education app, Arthritis 411, to help patients learn about arthritis pain and to help providers guide patients in treatment decisions, according to a Zimmer news release.

Twenty-five percent of healthcare providers are currently using tablets in their practice and an additional 21 percent plan to do so within 12 months, according to a CompTIA news release.
