The Medical Board of California is investigating charges that a Southern California physician withheld part of Demerol injections for pain patients and took them himself, according to a Lake Elsinore-Wildomar Patch report.
Gregory Spencer Mynko, MD, an anesthesiologist at Hemet (Calif.) Pain Management Group, is also being investigated for failure to keep accurate medical records.
The case, opened on Sept. 8, could lead to the revocation or suspensions of his license or placing him on probation.
