Rockville, Md.-based National Spine & Pain Center added three board-certified physicians to its practice, which is one of the largest inverventional pain management groups in the nation.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services opened a 30-day public comment period before conducting a draft of the National Coverage Determination for the mild procedure, and the American Society for Interventional Pain Physicians has sent a comment letter.
Nameer R. Haider, MD, is the director of interventional pain management at the Minimally Invasive Pain Institute in Washington, D.C. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain medicine.
