Here is the average intra-operative surgery time for a knee arthroscopy (CPT 29881) in an ASC, by the number of cases the ASC performs each month, according to data from Genascis.
1. Less than 100 cases — 33 min.
2. 100-200 cases — 29 min.
3. 200-400 cases — 30 min.
4. 400-600 cases — 32 min.
5. 600-900 cases — 35 min.
6. 900-1,200 cases — 24 min.
7. More than 1,200 cases — 26 min.
