Wildwood Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital in Sylvania Township, Ohio, is scheduled to open in early October, according to a Toledo Blade report.

The new 70,000-square-foot orthopedic hospital will be on the Wildwood Medical Campus and include 17 orthopedic and spine surgeons. The hospital will have six sterile ORs and 36 private patient rooms.

The project is expected to cost $33 million and is designed specifically for orthopedic patient care. The hospital will also have an OR with electronic filming equipment so the procedure can be watched in remote locations. The hospital will only accommodate patients undergoing elective procedures.
