Internal Fixation Systems has entered into a distribution agreement with Intelligent Orthopaedics to market its Staffordshire Orthopaedic Reduction Machine, a reusable device that is used to align fractures of the tibia prior to fixation.
Intelligent Orthopaedics is a company focused on developing, manufacturing and distributing orthopedic trauma devices for long bone fracture treatment. The partnership will allow the company to introduce its products to trauma surgeons through IFS's distribution channels. STORM is priced at approximately 40 to 50 percent lower than similar competing devices, according to IFS CEO Stephen Dresnick.
