DJO Surgical announced the first Movation Total Knee Arthroplasty system was implanted at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Md., according to a Herald report.
"Our team was very excited to perform our first Movation TKA," said Barry Waldman, MD, co-designer of the Movation Knee and orthopedic surgeon at Sinai Hospital, in the report. "This timeless PS knee solution combines easy to use instrumentation with upgraded PS Knee features that I believe will give our patients more stability and deeper flexion than we could obtain in the past. I am looking forward to seeing more of our patients benefit from this new innovation."
