Morton Hospital Purchases Robotic Orthopedic Surgery System

Morton Hospital in Taunton, Mass., has acquired a Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System for partial knee replacement and total hip replacement procedures, according to the Taunton Daily Gazette. The RIO system is a surgeon-guided robotic arm. It is designed to provide greater accuracy and precision for orthopedic procedures, less blood loss and minimal scarring.
