Exo Dynamics, a healthcare device startup, designed a spine brace to provide lower back support and combat healthcare workplace injuries, according to Med City News. The brace has sensor-embedded straps across the hips and chest and two vertical straps over the shoulders to allow the wearer optimal support through many poses, according to the report.
Many spine surgeons recommend back braces to patients with pain or surgery, but strains and tears are also a common workplace injury for those in the healthcare field. Exo Dynamics is launching its product for medical professionals this summer, and will eventually target patients as well, according to the report.
