Stryker Unveiled Iconix All Suture Device for Shoulder, Hip Arthroscopy

Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Stryker Corp. launched its Iconix all suture anchor platform for shoulder and hip arthroscopy at the 2013 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting in Chicago last month, according to Zacks. The Iconix uses the company's IntelliBraid technology, and is part of Stryker's joint preservation business. The all suture platform was originally created by Laurane Medical and acquired by Stryker in 2011, according to the report. The company developed the technology to be more flexible for orthopedic surgeons.
