Instruments Spine Frontier, based in Beverly, Mass., has launched a less invasive pedicle screw system, its PedFUSE Remind Pedicle Screw System. The system is designed for midline lumbar surgery. Stryker, based in Kalamazoo, Mich., has launched the ICONIX suture-based system and ES2 Spinal System. The ICONIX is designed to enable surgeons to remove less bone during arthroscopy procedures and ES2 utilizes Xia 3 pedicle screw technology for minimally invasive bar and screw replacement.

Aesculap, based in Center Valley, Pa., has released Hi-Line XXS Minimally Invasive Microsurgical hand piece. The device is designed for use in eight different positions and visibility improvement during minimally invasive spine surgery.

Sonoma Orthopedic Products, based in Santa Rosa, Calif., has launched a new minimally invasive procedure using its Sonoma CRx clavicle nail. The Velox procedure enables orthopedic physicians to heal collar bone, arm and wrist fractures that would normally call for surgery.
