Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based MAKO Surgical appointed Ian Dawson as senior vice president of marketing to take over for Ivan Delevic, who will serve as the company's senior vice president of corporate development. Mr. Dawson previously served as the vice president of North American marketing for device company Smith & Nephew's advanced wound management division. He has also held leadership positions at Zimmer.
MAKO Surgical manufactures the RIO Robotic Arm Interactive orthopedic system.
