Here are 18 key notes on orthopedic and spine device companies over the past week.

The news about Zimmer Biomet acquiring LDR may be worrying some Austin, Texas.-based LDR employees because the former has previously shut down Austin offices of companies it has bought.

 

LDR has faced significant reimbursement pushback for its Mobi-C device, but Zimmer Biomet believes it can bring power to bear on the payer relation side of the business.
