Spinal Tech

San Diego-based NuVasive received FDA clearance for the use of its Reline posterior fixation system to implant the MAGEC system.

Here are three key notes:

1. NuVasive leveraged the Reline system with the Integrated Global Alignment platform, allowing surgeons to treat patients with open or minimally invasive approaches.

2. The MAGEC system is a magnetic growing-rod system intended to treat adolescents with early-onset scoliosis.

3. The combined MAGEC and Reline technology offers surgeons a comprehensive solution to treat complex spinal deformities.
