The Centers for Musculoskeletal Disorders in Englewood, N.J., installed Mazor Robotics' Renaissance system.
Here are four things to know:
1. The outpatient surgery center is the first in the Northeast to install the Renaissance system.
2. The Centers for Musculoskeletal Disorders is a joint private practice between The Center for Spinal Disorders, The Center for Hand Disorders and The Center for Pain Management.
3. Spine surgeons Jonathan Lewin, MD, Seth Grossman, MD, and Vagmin Vora, MD, will utilize the new technology.
4. The Renaissance system involves 3D planning and guidance with 1.5 mm accuracy for fusions, complex spinal deformity and trauma cases.
