Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corporation announced the release of the Integra Complete Cervical Intervertebral Body Fusion Device, according to a recent Integra news release.
The device is Integra's first zero-profile, stand-alone IBD cervical solution and has received 510(k) clearance from the United States FDA. Designed to help provide stability for spinal fusion after a diseased cervical disc is surgically removed, the Integra Complete Cervical IBD offers a wide variety of implant sizes. The implant is a less invasive alternative to the traditional anterior plate with interbody construct used for anterior cervical fusion procedures.
