Zimmer Holdings Acquires SoPlus Orthopaedic Surgical Power Tools

Zimmer Holdings recently acquired Sodem Diffusion S.A., the Geneva, Switzerland-based manufacturer of SoPlus Orthopaedic Surgical Power Tools, according to a Zimmer news release.
Sodem Diffusion S.A. will be renamed Zimmer Surgical and become part of the headquarters in Dover, Ohio. Zimmer will expand its portfolio to include the SoPlus Universal large bone system and SoPlus Ultra small bone system with associated consumables.
