International Society for Hip Arthroscopy Names Dr. Thomas Sampson President

Thomas G. Sampson, MD, was recently elected president of the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy, according to an AAOS Now news report.
During his career, Dr. Sampson has served as a senior partner at Post Street Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, director of hip arthroscopy at Post Street Surgery Center and medical director of the Total Joint Center at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Arthroscopy Association of North America.

Dr. Sampson earned his medical degree at Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, D.C., and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of California in San Francisco.
