Dr. Harrison practices at Viera Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Greensboro, Fla. He has been deployed twice to Afghanistan in the most recent conflicts and spent time with the Special Operations Command.
Dr. Harrison earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. His additional training includes fellowships in hand surgery at St. Luke's Roosevelt Medical Centre in New York, Monash Medical Centre in Australia and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.

Richard Harrison, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and major in the U.S. Army Reserve, was recently awarded the Bronze Star for his service to the military during combat missions and treating special operations troops, according to a Florida Today report.
