In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gleiber has been invited as a lecturer at research institutions and hospitals to discuss surgical and non-surgical treatments for patients with spinal disorders. He also has a professional interest in the development and design of surgical implants and instruments. Dr. Gleiber holds membership to several prestigious organizations, including the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has also participated in the American Orthopaedic Association's Emerging Leaders Program. In addition, he holds memberships in Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society and Palm Beach County Medical Society.
For the past four years, Dr. Gleiber has received the Patients' Choice Award by Vitals.com and was honored with the Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2010 and 2011. He has also received recognition in The Palm Beach Magazine for his contributions to spinal surgery and was named among the "Top 40 Under 40" in Jupiter Magazine. Dr. Gleiber's practice has received an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau.
Dr. Gleiber earned his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. with Distinction, and completed his residency at Columbia University Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, in New York City. During his training, he received the Harold M. Dick Award for excellence in orthopedic surgery, Harrison McLaughlin Award for demonstrating excellence in orthopedic trauma and Leonard Marmor Surgical Arthritis Foundation Award. He also was selected as a Chief resident in his final year. After his orthopedic training, Dr. Gleiber completed the Kenton D. Leatherman Spine Surgery Fellowship where he received neurosurgical and orthopedic spine training. His fellowship also focused on treating spinal trauma and spinal cord injuries.
Dr. Gleiber currently serves on staff at five hospitals in South Florida, including The University of Miami Hospital. He has office locations in Jupiter and Boca Raton, Florida.
