AMA Re-Elects Dr. Andrew Gurman Board of Trustees Speaker Featured

The American Medical Association has re-elected Andrew W. Gurman, MD, as speaker of its Board of Trustees for 2012-2013.
Dr. Gurman is an orthopedic hand surgeon based in Altoona, Pa. During his career, Dr. Gurman was the speaker and vice president of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and on the PMS council on governmental relations.

Dr. Gurman earned his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Montefiore Hospital/Albert Einstein Hospitals in the Bronx. His additional training includes a hand fellowship at Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute in New York City.
