Here are 35 Orthopedic and spine surgeons who recently joined hospitals and practices.
Greater Regional Medical Center in Iowa named Damian Mizera, MD, head of its new orthopedic and sports medicine center. He previously practiced sports medicine at St. Francis Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Maryville, Miss.
Banning, Calif.-based San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital and Beaver Medical Group recently welcomed orthopedic surgeon Mark T. Reis, MD. He is a past president of the Washington State Orthopedic Association.
Spine surgeon Ravi K. Ponnappan, MD, joined Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House, N.J. He completed a fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Peter Yeh, MD, an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon, joined Winchester (Mass) Hospital. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Institute in Los Angeles.
Foot and ankle surgeon Christopher Baker, MD, joined Winchester (Mass.) Hospital. He completed his fellowship in foot and ankle care at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

Brad Raphael, MD, a partner at Elite Healthcare Medical Associates, joined staff at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.
Pen Bay Orthopaedics in Maine recently welcomed Joseph Scordino, MD. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Jeffrey I. Peretz, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with a professional interest in total joint replacement and arthroscopy, joined Resurgens Orthopaedics in Atlanta. He completed his adult reconstructive surgery fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

Peter Indelicato, MD, president of American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, joined NeuroSpine Institute of Orlando. He previously practiced at the University of Miami and was the team physician for the Miami Dolphins.
Spine surgeon Issada Thongtrangan, MD, recently joined Orthopaedic and Spine Institute in San Antonio. He completed his spine fellowship at Texas Back Institute in Plano.
Tan Duy Ly, DO, joined Southeastern Spine Center & Research Institute in Sarasota, Fla. He completed a spine fellowship at the Spine Institute of Arizona in Scottsdale.
Geisinger Health's Neurosciences Institute recently named Jonathan Slotkin, MD, director of spine surgery and spinal cord research. He has fellowship training in complex spinal surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
