From June 14 to 16, Chicago will be abuzz with some of the brightest thinkers in the ambulatory surgery center industry. This conference is designed for orthopedic, spine and pain management-focused ASCs, and offers more than 100 sessions on best practices to manage clinical, financial and operational issues.
Nationally renowned speakers — such as legendary NCAA football coach Lou Holtz, ABC news veteran Sam Donaldson and Fox News contributor Tucker Carlson — will also provide commentary and perspective on what it takes to be an effective leader and the state of the American healthcare industry.
The conference features a combination of business and clinical expertise, with 30 physician speakers 30 CEOs as speakers. For instance, on Friday, June 15, four business and physician leaders will gather to discuss healthcare reform, politics and the next four years as they relate to spine- and orthopedic-focused ASCs. Laxmaiah Manchikanti, MD, CEO of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians; Thomas J. Bombardier, MD, principal and founder of Ambulatory Surgical Centers of America; John Caruso, MD, neurosurgeon with Parkway Surgery Center in Hagerstown, Md.; and Robert Zasa, founder of ASD Management will all provide their perspectives in a roundtable moderated by Sam Donaldson.
Another can't-miss-session is scheduled for Friday June 15, when four speakers will discuss the best ideas and biggest threats to orthopedics and spine care in a roundtable moderated by Sam Donaldson. Tom Mallon, CEO of Regent Surgical Health; Brian Cole, MD, with the Rush Division of Sports Medicine; R.
