Orlando Health opened the new Wyatt Whitney Hip & Orthopedic Institute in Orlando, named for the five-year-old son of Dan Whitney, better known as comedian Larry the Cable Guy. Wyatt Whitney was born with hip dysplasia.
Mr. Whitney and his family's foundation, the Git-R-Done Foundation, contributed a $5 million donation to fund the development of the institute, which focuses on orthopedic and hip care.

The Wyatt Whitney Hip & Orthopedic Institute houses the International Hip Dysplasia Institute for gathering information and providing guidance for families affected by the disorder. The institute is also home to Level One Orthopedics, which will provide patient care and training for orthopedic surgeons.
