GE Software Boosts Ogden Regional Medical Center's OR Efficiency Featured

To fill growing surgery demands with finite space, Ogden Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City teamed up with GE Healthcare Performance Solutions to optimize its capacity through scheduling software, according to a Market Watch report.
Through its GE partnership Ogden — whose physicians performs orthopedic, cardiovascular, robotic surgeries and more — increased its open OR time by 9 percent and its utilization grew by 5 percent.

Ogden also created an OR Governance Committee to help make the increased efficiency sustainable and hold staff members accountable.
