ANOVA Orthopaedic Solutions Seeks Patent for Cost-Saving Strategies in Orthopedics

ANOVA Orthopaedic Solutions, a Brentwood, Tenn.-based orthopedic company, is seeking a patent for its methods of cost reduction, surgeon alignment with hospitals and improved efficiencies for orthopedic supply chain and facility orthopedic service lines, according to a company news release.
The company offers a method for managing data and process requirements for medical device supply chain and perioperative surgical services. The company has experienced success with the proposed business model for more than two years, reporting that it helps facilitate a better working relationship between orthopedic surgeons, healthcare providers and implant companies to best fit today's healthcare environment.

"We believe the methods and processes described in this pending patent represent a game-changing paradigm shifting approaches to the orthopedic supply chain and perioperative process that reduce costs and inefficiencies and maintain quality," said ANOVA Founder and CEO Walter Spires, in the news release.
