Robert Small, MD, an orthopedic surgeon died due to injuries he sustained in a bicycle crash in New York, according to lohud.

1. The incident occurred Friday. Dr. Small died the following Tuesday at Westchester Medical Center.
2. He was president of the medical and dental staff at White Plains Hospital.
3. Dr. Small additionally served as director of the Orthopedic Institute at White Plains Hospital.
4. He was a staff member at White Plains Hospital at for almost 30 years.
