Thomas C. Kim, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in the surgical treatment of athletic injuries focusing on disorders of the shoulder, hip, and knee with an emphasis on arthroscopic surgery.
In addition to practicing at Nevada Orthopedic & Spine Center in Northwest Las Vegas, Dr. Kim is affiliated with a number of hospitals and medical centers including MountainView Hospital and Valley Hospital Medical Center, both in Las Vegas.
Dr. Kim has also published many chapters, including "Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy," in 5 Minutes Sports Medicine Consult Project, as well as Chapter 16 in the FIMS Team Physician Manual.
After receiving his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C., Dr. Kim completed a year of general surgical residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and completed his orthopedic training with the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency Program. Dr. Kim also completed a sports medicine fellowship at Harvard University under Lyle Micheli, MD, in Boston.
