Richard Terek, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing at University Orthopedics in Rhode Island. He specializes in adult reconstructive surgery and musculoskeletal oncology.
Additionally, he is an associate professor at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is director of the orthopedic oncology laboratory. He treats patients with a variety of conditions including metastatic cancer, osteogenic sarcoma, Ewing sarcoma and benign bone and soft tissue tumors among many others.
Dr. Terek earned his medical degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine, affiliated with the University of Chicago. He went on to complete his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. He completed fellowships at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Basking Ridge, N.J.
