Erlanger (Tenn.) Health System is improving its orthopedic surgery program with a $2 million project, according to The Chattanoogan.com.
Here are three things to know about the project:
1. The project entails adding two more suites for elective surgeries on the main hospital's sixth floor. The hospital is already building four new orthopedic operating rooms.
2. The six orthopedic operating suites will open at the same time early next year.
3. The suites will have their own entrance, lobby and dining area. Patients will have 12 beds available nearby the orthopedic suites.
