John Healey, MD, is the chief of orthopedic services at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and is a professor of orthopedic surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College, both located in New York City.
Dr. Healey has authored several book chapters and wrote a book titled Diagnosis and Management of Pathologic Fractures. He serves as an advisor to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network and is on the boards of various musculoskeletal and orthopedic organizations.
Dr. Healey earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. He went on to complete several residencies at New England Medical Center, affiliated with Tufts University in Boston and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
Dr. Healey completed fellowships at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery.
