William Ciccone, II, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Cornerstone Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, P.C., in Colorado. He previously served as the team physician for the Colorado Rockies AAA team Sky Sox and as medical director for the Rocky Mountain State Games, State Games of America and United States Olympic Training Center events in Chula Vista, Calif.
He is a member of several organizations including the Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arizona Sports Medicine Society and Clear Creek Medical Society.
He earned his medical degree from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Boulder, Colo. He went on to complete his residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Dr. Ciccone completed an arthroscopy and sports medicine fellowship at the University of California San Diego.
