Jeffrey Moore, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Orthopedic Physicians of Anchorage in Alaska. His special interests include sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, shoulder replacement, knee replacement and hip replacement.
Dr. Moore has treated several collegiate and other athletes in Alaska. He presently serves as the head team physician for the Alaska Aces as well as the University of Alaska Anchorage's basketball, cross country, track & field, gymnastics and skiing teams.
Dr. Moore earned his medical degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and went on to complete his residency at the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha. Dr. Moore served in the Air Force after completing his orthopedic residency. He served as the chief of orthopedic surgery at Neills Air Force Base in Nevada as well as Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage.
