Julie Adams, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and associate professor of orthopedics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Adams served as Minnesota Orthopedic Society president from 2014 to 2015 and served on the board of directors from 2009 through 2015.
Dr. Adams has a special interest in hand, wrist and elbow surgery as well as scapholunat ligament surgery. She was named as Minnesota Monthly's Best Doctors in 2014.
Dr. Adams earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She underwent a pathology residency at the University of Alabama and an orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic. After completing her residencies, she underwent a hand surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
