Matthew J. Simons, MD, is an adult reconstruction and joint replacement surgeon practicing at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics in Fresno, Calif. He is a member of several organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and International Congress of Joint Reconstruction.
Dr. Simon specializes in lower extremity reconstruction and seeks to restore motion to those affected by injury and joint degeneration. Additionally, he has experience treating athletes of the Chicago Sky women's basketball team as well as the baseball, gymnastics and soccer athletes at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Dr. Simons obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency. He went on to complete his adult reconstruction fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
