Jefferson C. Brand, MD, practices at Heartland Orthopedic Specialists, which has practice locations throughout Minnesota. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, he specializes in the treatment and care of sports-related injuries.
He serves as a visiting professor at the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where he lectures on different surgical techniques in sports medicine.
Dr. Brand obtained his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Duluth. He went on to finish his residency at the University of Minnesota in St. Paul. He completed his fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.
