Jovito Angeles, MD, serves as an orthopedic surgeon and assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at The University of Chicago. His specialties include pediatric orthopedics, hand surgery, joint replacement, reconstructive surgery and nerve regeneration among several others.
Board-certified in orthopedics, Dr. Angeles is conducting research on nerve repair and regeneration. His goal is to enhance functional outcomes after nerve repair and reconstruction.
He earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines, and completed his internship and residency at Philippine General Hospital in Manila.
Dr. Angeles underwent fellowships at UCLA and The University of Chicago.
