Walter Boardwine, MD, joined Elkins, W.Va.-based Davis Medical Center. Board-certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Boardwine has been practicing medicine for 30 years.
Jerome Wall, MD, died on Nov. 9 at age 71. He practiced at Community Orthopedic Medical Group in Riverside, Calif. Dr. Wall founded the SPORT clinic, which provided care to uninsured high school and college athletes.
Storm Lake, Iowa-based Buena Vista Regional Medical Center welcomed Seth W. Harrer, MD, to its physician staff. Dr. Harrer's interested include total joint replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopy and general orthopedics.
Benjamin Beecher, MD, joined Pella Regional Health Center's medical clinic in Knoxville, Iowa. Dr. Beecher completed his fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Mercy Defiance (Ohio) Clinic added Kirk Davis, DO, to its physician team. Dr. Kirk is a fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.
Doctors on Liens added Ian Brodie, MD, to its network of physicians. Dr. Brodie serves patients at Temeku Chiropractic Orthopedic Clinic in Temecula, Calif.
Stuart Fromm, MD, devised a technique to enhance ACL reconstruction. Dr. Fromm, of Rapid City, S.D.-based Black Hills Orthopedic & Spine, completed an orthopedic surgery fellowship at Lake Tahoe Fracture & Orthopedic in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Center for Jewish Life board elected L. Scott Levin, MD, to its board of Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life. Dr. Levin serves chair of the department of orthopedic surgery at Penn Medicine.
Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System added four orthopedic specialists. The orthopedists include:
