Board-certified in orthopedics, Edward Ashman, MD, specializes in the surgical treatment of athletic injuries on the shoulder, knee and elbow. He serves as an assistant professor at The University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno. Dr. Ashman is affiliated with Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, MountainView Hospital & Medical Center and Summerlin Hospital, among others.
He earned his medical degree from Albany (N.Y.) Medical College. Dr. Ashman underwent his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the same institution.
Following his residency, Dr. Ashman completed his fellowship at Nirschl Sports Clinic Georgetown Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
