Christian N. Anderson, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Nashville-based Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America and Tennessee Medical Association.
Dr. Anderson has a professional interest in general orthopedics, shoulder procedures and sports medicine services. He has published 15 scientific articles and book chapters. He has previously served as an assistant team physician for the San Francisco 49ers and Stanford University Athletics. He serves on the editorial board of Clinical Journal of Orthopedics and Rheumatology and as a reviewer for Rheumatology Current Research and American Journal of Sports Medicine. He is also a grants reviewer for the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation.
Dr. Anderson completed his medical degree and orthopedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tenn. He has completed a sports medicine fellowship at Stanford (Calif.) University Medical Center.
