D. Kay Kirkpatrick, MD, is co-president of Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics. She is president of the Georgia Orthopaedic Society and a council member-at-large for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Medical Association.
Dr. Kirkpatrick's clinical interests include hand and upper extremity surgery as well as occupational injuries and Dupuytren's disease. She is involved in the A Nation in Motion initiative and has lead many service projects with the Resurgens Foundation. Her hospital affiliations include North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Ga., and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
After completing her medical degree and residency at the University of Louisville (Ky.) School of Medicine, Dr. Kirkpatrick fellowship training at the Kleinert Institute of the Hand & Management in Louisville.
