Myrtle Beach, S.C.-based Carolina Orthopaedics welcomed Joanna Kaczmarek as human resource director.
Here are five notes:
1. In her new role, Ms. Kaczmarek will manage staffing, recruitment, payroll, benefits, compensation, training, complications and employee relations.
2. She will oversee more than 50 employees at three Carolina Orthopaedics' sites.
3. With more than 20 years of human resource experience, she has held roles as a human resources manager for St. Cloud, Minn.-based DPMS Firearm and most recently served as a human resources manager for Worldwide Dispensers in Lester Prairie, Minn.
4. Carolina Orthopaedics' physician team includes:

5. Since its inception in 2004, Carolina Orthopaedics has provided services including orthopedic pain management, sports medicine, reconstructive surgery and total joint replacement.
