Samuel Tabet, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at New Mexico Orthopaedics, a practice based in Albuquerque, N.M. He treats patients with knee and shoulder injuries, and has a particular interest in trauma, sports medicine and reconstructive surgery.
Alongside his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Tabet is the director of New Mexico Orthopaedics' arthoscopy and sports medicine fellowship. He serves as the director of the New Mexico Cartilage Restoration Center and as a clinical associate professor at the University of New Mexico, both of which are located in Albuquerque. He holds memberships with professional societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, New Mexico Medical Society and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Tabet earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Oregon in Portland and his fellowship at the University of Oregon in Eugene.
