Letha Y. Griffin, MD, PhD, is a senior partner at Peachtree Orthopedics, a practice with offices throughout Georgia. She specializes in sports medicine, with research interests in ACL injuries, patellofemoral issues and cartilage restoring techniques.
She has served as the assistant team physician for the Washington Huskies and the Michigan Wolverines. In 1996, she sat on the medical organizing committees for the Olympics. She currently holds memberships with multiple professional societies, including American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
Dr. Griffin earned her medical degree at Ohio State University in Columbus, where she also completed a PhD in immunology. She went on to complete her residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Va.
