John Woodward Jr., MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Orthopaedic Physicians of Colorado, a practice with locations in Englewood, Highlands Ranch and Littleton. He is a general orthopedic surgeon, with special interests in trauma, sports injuries and joint replacement.
Dr. Woodward lectures throughout the country, and has taught fracture management to other orthopedic surgeons. Outside of Orthopaedic Physicians of Colorado, he also serves as the section chief of the department of orthopedic surgery at the Englewood-based Swedish Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and also holds memberships with American Medical Association, Colorado Medical Society and Colorado Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Woodward earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Phoenix-based Maricopa Medical Center.
