Slocum Surgery Center adds total joints to offerings: 4 things to know

Eugene, Ore.-based Slocum Surgery Center added knee and hip replacement surgery to its repertoire of offerings, according to KEZI 9 News.

Here are four things to know:

1. The program, Renew Total Joint Replacement program, is the surgery center's first hip and knee replacement offering.

2. Brian Jewett, MD, is among the orthopedic surgeons performing these procedures at the center.

3. Going forth in 2017, the program hopes to add total shoulder and ankle replacements.

4. Twenty-four orthopedic surgeons staff Slocum Surgery Center.
