Stephan L. Prô, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoKansas, an orthopedic center in Lawrence, Kan. He specializes in hip, knee and shoulder treatments, including hip arthroscopy, proximal hamstring repairs and cartilage restoration.
He has provided coverage for professional soccer teams, including LA Galaxy and Chivas USA. He travels with the U.S. Men's National Team, which he worked with in preparation for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Earlier that year, he performed a mission trip to Haiti after the 7.0-magnitude earthquake. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and holds memberships with the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
